"Mock promotion"is an idea that can help organization along with all its stake holders in growth, specially to build a better understanding among various different hierarchal positions of employees.

What is mock-promotion?
Mock promotion is a process of promoting an employee by at least two or three level above to employee's current Job title for a short and affordable(financially; by organization) period of time by optimizing budget and other critical scenarios required to take this action.
How can it be done?
It may work very nice in such organizations where at least six seven levels of job titles are there like from senior executives to some entry level employees in every domain of organizations departments and even verticals.
This process should be followed only when any employee has spent at least some good time with organization(It may work as an impactive and attractive process about human resource policies along with cost effectiveness.)
Why is it required?
Generally, people up in the hierarchy have experienced some time in all the job titles below them or it could be phrased like; senior employees are promoted from lower level of hierarchy only.They know psychology of those people they who work with in their team and report to them.They have simply gone through that time.But, people they who are managers haven't experienced the role and responsibilities of executives.So most of the times, people at lower level in hierarchy have complains about their seniors and if they will be given a glimpse of work and working environment of their seniors, they would be able to learn at a great extent at managerial as well as leadership fronts.

here there are ten levels, in general practices people at entry level would be in direct communication with people till Intermediate Level-3 and similar if we talk about an employee at Intermediate Level-3 would be having a direct communication with people till Senior Management level-1 or Executive.
So if an employee would be given some mock credentials to work at highest position whom he or she communicates frequently would help employee as well as organization to grow.
How the cost can be optimized?
This mock promotion process should occur once in two years(this depends on the structure of the organization) )for 15 working days(as this time is handsome enough to show the glimpse, just glimpse, not the working challenges. During this time employee should be given some extra money too,so that they should have keen interest in enjoying this time as full learning as well as loyalty for organization.)
This this can be optimized by mutual understanding between finance and human resource management teams.
An example: they who are being promoted must be given at least basic salary of position,they are being promoted.Organization may not give other benefits like other different allowances an all.
How can it be practical?
During this process mock-promoted employee, Mock-promoted should be shown most of the role and responsibilities with a great care of security and other critical parameters of the business of organization.Organizations may not give the right of implementations and decisions to the mock-promoted employee.
